This move was inspired by news articles [like this](https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/school-asks-parents-to-donate-toilet-paper-and-stationery-amid-budget-cuts_uk_5b237d91e4b07cb1712d6376) and also hearing the same sort of story locally where we live. We see surplus stationery and educational equipment everyday on a massive scale so we think making this move is actually a duty of ours to take advantage of the power of our network.   ### **How does it work?** Using Warp It, you can link up and make connections with organisations like Universities, NHS, local councils and other schools to get and give surplus assets.    ### **What sort of stuff is available?** The bulk of the items on the site include: - Furniture - Stationery - Office equipment - Office supplies - Clinical supplies - Sports equipment You can take a look at what is available[today here. ](https://warp-it.co.uk/search-results?search=&category=0&type=company&perpage=20&page=1&sortby=endingsoonest&filter=all®ional=0) This changes everyday.  Remember you can search by distance.  ### **Here’s what you need to do…** 1. [Please register here](https://warp-it.co.uk/app_pages/content/regionalschools.aspx) to start to access free corporate assets in your area. 2. Wait to be approved. We need to carry out due diligence for security reasons. 3. Once approved you can log in and start to search for items. [(Guide here)](https://www.warp-it.co.uk/training-search) 4. You can also add items you want to your wish list [(Guide here)](https://www.warp-it.co.uk/training/watchandwishlist)and you will be notified when they become available. 5. If your school has surplus items that other schools could use make sure you add them!
