Need-to-know Basics Around Ideas

Written by Joseph Kennedy | May 10, 2019 8:26:00 PM

It’s a myth that you should be keeping your ideas to yourself.

When your idea is at the creation stage, share it with others and get their feedback. Nobody is going to steal your idea because coming up with good ideas is actually the easy part, the hard part is the blood, sweat, tears, time, energy, and conviction required to turn it into reality. You can’t steal those things.

Nobody is going to try and take your idea to market, it won’t happen, so share it with friends, relatives, and peers.

Validate as soon as you can

It’s crucial for the growth and actualisation of your ideas that you validate them as soon as you can. If you do not then you are spending brainpower on a potentially rubbish idea which a waste of energy- and you could have moved onto something with more impact.

As soon as you have your idea, start talking to people and bouncing that idea off them to find out whether they think it’s a good one or not.
