Our community is growing...

Since before the Christmas break in 2019, we’ve been emailing and getting touch with subscribers of this mailing list, in particular the ones who are actively using our service.

We wanted to follow up and see how you were getting on, if it was working for you, and if you were enjoying it, that sort of thing.

What we found to be a major trend was that mentors and mentees are connecting on the platform and then continuing their relationship away from the platform. We are absolutely fine with that, for us, this project is about impact and sustainability, not money or even following our mentorship framework.

We can rest assured that by providing a viable platform for people to be introduced to one another in the name of sustainability, the environment will benefit and impact will come about.

In fact, from the conversations we’ve been having, impact is being achieved already!

So, what’s the issue for us?

Like we’ve said, moving away from our platform is fine, but the one thing that it does is that it cuts us out of the conversation. It doesn’t allow us to be updated, or to receive links about impacts and results and achievements. In order to stay involved in what’s going on, we’ve set up a LinkedIn group for anyone involved in Sustainability Mentors and we asked that you join.

What can you do in the group?

We can:

  • Start interesting discussions
  • Find pain points and meet people’s needs
  • Answer difficult questions
  • Share success and victories
  • Recommend resources to one another
