Warp It for Community Voluntary Services, CVS

Charity

Community Voluntary Services (CVS) across the land are discovering they can join Warp It and give their members access to millions of pounds worth of free corporate assets.

Welcome wonderful representatives from CVS's, take a look at some of the perks your FREE Warp It membership offer, and download our instructions on how to take advantage of this service and add great value to your members.

What is in it for CVS's?

  • Get free access to corporate assets like furniture, stationery and equipment for your members
  • Provide your membership with even better value from your CVS service!

How do CVS's get involved?

Quite simply the CVS sets up a portal on Warp It (we show you how below) and then invites their members to join (we give you a template). Your  members then get free access to surplus corporate assets.

So, what is Warp It?

Warp It is an online system for organisations to help reuse their surplus and unwanted assets internally, externally, and to third parties.

We are used by Central Gov, NHS, Councils, the majority of the UK’s universities, and increasingly by schools, charities and not-for-profit organisations.

The system itself functions much like eBay, but instead of bidding and waiting to see if you’ve won items, you can claim them for free, immediately! This system has proved easy to use, familiar and popular with the hundreds of organisations who are using us across the UK, Australia, USA and more.

If you’d like to learn more, you can see here how charities and social enterprises are taking advantage.

What benefits does Warp It provide?

Warp It is an effective tool that we’ve made completely free for charities. We’ve helped charities around furnish entire buildings and offices, and save huge sums of money that can be used to contribute to the greater good.

We’ve become experts in helping charities, but also in helping charities to help other charities! That is where CVS's come in.

How can Warp It be used by a CVS to help their members?

Quiet simply the CVS sets up a portal on Warp It and then invites their members to join. The members then get free access to surplus corporate assets.

We are something new, something innovative, and something proven to bring risk-free benefits to charities. The benefits of being able to engage in and show commitment to sustainability, resourcefulness and you local economy will reap great rewards, both in the short and long term.

In fact, we’ve already donated more than £2.15m worth of corporate assets to the charity sector, and are chasing down our next milestone of £3m, which can be achieved with your help. Just think, you could refurbish your offices for free.

How do you sign up to Warp It?

My goal is where reuse & repair is so convenient and desirable, that organisations do not throw anything away or buy anything new.. Where reusable items are redistributed for their 2nd and 3rd useful lives and when the items fail, they are diverted into repair.
