Feature: store management settings

If you have available storage it can act as a lifeline for items, particularly bulky furniture, as they await redistribution. 

Storage space is expensive and becoming increasingly scarce, especially as many organisations have adopted remote or hybrid ways of working.

You can reduce these costs by using Warp It to:

  • Present what’s in storage to your staff, and external partners if appropriate, by creating an online shopping experience.
  • Track what’s coming in and out of storage and manage items effectively. 

Here’s a guide on using Warp it as a storage management tool. 

  1. Go to ‘admin’.
  2. Click on ‘control partners’.
  3. Visit the ‘private network’ section.
  4. Input a storage email. The system now knows that you don’t want to share assets with third parties, and instead you want a private network and storage system

While storage offers many benefits, using Warp it creates more time to find a new homes internally for items and keeps the value of resources within the organisation.
