'I hate belongings. I hate clutter. It really bothers me because I can't think properly. If you've got distractions in front of you, your mind goes nuts.'

What is Tidy Friday?
Our Tidy Friday campaign has captured the attention of many of our partners here on the Warp It portal. But, what is Tidy Friday?
Tidy Friday is a campaign designed for the Warp It lead member to encourage your staff and Warp It participants to declutter and clean up their desks on a Friday before leaving for the weekend. This means we will saying things like:
“If you find equipment or stationery that you don’t need, we ask you to list it on Warp It for the benefit of your colleagues. Two staplers? You don’t need them both. A pile of empty folders? Your colleague in accounting could really use them. Get it listed. Warp It. Warp it. Warp It! ”
Engaging your staff in reuse
When staff practice the reuse element of Tidy Friday, listing their surplus assets, they begin engaging with and becoming accustomed to using their reuse system. Plus, when you’re reusing small items from your desk, it will give you the idea that you can also reuse large items when you no longer need them.
We want to support the backbone of reuse in your organisation, the Warp It lead and the green champions or key stakeholders. This is why the support document at the end of this post contains all of the things you need to integrate Tidy Friday, and you can do it all in less than thirty minutes!
