Surplus NHS supplies find new life helping those in need

We’ve put together loads of resources and guides to help you get set up on Warp It, to help you embed it, and to help you list things so that you can start making claims quickly.

Despite all of the resources, we know that some new customers are savvy enough to bypass all of the information and figure it out for themselves. We know that some of you want to get cracking ASAP and make up for the lost time.

As part of my usual daily call routine I have been speaking to sustainability managers coming back to work after the Easter break. 

Many of them are saying that the David Attenborough, Extinction Rebellion, Climate Emergency declarations are helping them push their sustainability objectives. 

Staff are more engaged, Senior staff are more informed. 

2/3rds of Britons agree the planet is in a climate emergency.

Greta Thunberg, the Climate Emergency Movement , David Attenborough, plastics and Extinction Rebellion are the single biggest conduit of opportunity of the last 30 years for getting sustainability changes, policies, and plans, introduced into your organisations and embedded into culture deeply.

It is time to review and reinvigorate your Green Champion Network. 

It is time to ride this wave of interest and use it to make lasting sustainable change.

But how? We are going to tell you how to harness and take action!

Being a Sustainability Manager is more than just a job, it’s a lifestyle and a mentality.

Sometimes it doesn't even feel like work because you are so absorbed in this mission.

Those who are most successful in this position are the people who understand that delivering sustainability is a part of their character and not just a means of getting paid.

The most successful also understand they cannot do it alone, that sustainability is achieved via collaboration.  Which subsequently means collaborative skills are top of the list. 

In the past being successful has also been about the long game and waiting for the planets to align...but this has to change.

We have been absolutely stunned, amazed, and inspired by the Schools 4 Climate Action movement that has been started by young environmental activist Greta Thunberg. As we share her strong values, we are deeply affected by the movement and wish to offer our support and encouragement to students who wish to participate.

We love hearing from our valued members, especially when we hear feedback like this:

What a great position to be in, right?

A workshop is one of the most fun, intriguing, ambitious, and useful ideas for getting your main stakeholders to buy into your new idea, proposal, or project.

The only difference is, the solution is not yours, it belongs to everybody.
