It’s time to empty our "drawers of doom"

An unprecedented amount of medical equipment and hospital furniture has been donated to charities in the UK and abroad thanks to the Warp It community.

An international charity working to empower the poor by providing food, shelter, education and medical aid has distributed essential furniture among rural hospitals abroad with donations sourced from the Warp It community.

The Warp It reuse system is a network whereby charities can access free corporate assets like stationery,  chairs, desks, cabinets, sports equipment etc. There is no charge to join and the surplus assets are free, too. Please register here to start to access free corporate assets in your area. 

We have just introduced free access for all charities and schools!

This move was inspired by news articles like this and also hearing the same sort of story locally where we live.

We see surplus stationery and educational equipment everyday on a massive scale so we think making this move is actually a duty of ours to take advantage of the power of our network.

A charity working to educate, empower and improve the health of women and girls in West Africa has furnished schools in the area with donations sourced from Warp It system.

We have a brand new webinar taking place every month for charities and schools specifically. This is to help the newer charities and schools get used to our new features as well as existing ones to help you become a Warp It pro.

MedAID are a charity on a mission to bridge the gap between surplus medical devices and equipment and the shortage of medical equipment in resource-limited countries.

We want to maximise the reuse of surplus assets.

Part of this is to re-distribute assets to the 3rd sector for reuse in the community.

Another part of this is donating assets to countries abroad who might need those items.

We are starting to explore how we can support charities who are already donating equipment to overseas countries.

Equipment donations to overseas countries in need may be a very effective form of aid, provided that the items supplied follow international guidelines and are practical for the receiving party.

A vast number of difficulties may arise during the process and this zoom meeting is designed to explore those issues but also to demonstrates what can be achieved by a "where there's a will there's a way" attitude!.

We will start this exploration by hosting a zoom meeting to discuss the issues in the hope of creating a solid process for our customers to donate furniture equipment and supplies to overseas countries who are in need.
